Managing Director, Private Clients
Simon joined Mercater Capital Management in 2005. He is responsible for the management of the Private Client side of the business. Previously he was a Fund Manager for Aberdeen Asset Management as part of their Multi-Manager team. Prior to that he spent 13 years working for Cazenove Fund Management, initially as an Assistant Fund Manager, and then as a Fund Manager. He worked on both the Institutional and the Private Client side of the business in London and then Chester. He qualified as a Fellow of the Securities Institute (FSI) in 1998.
Outside the office Simon is a husband, father and 'petrol head'. He also races a Dart 18 catamaran - sometimes even competitively!
