Fund Manager
Having started work in the City as a trader/market-maker in 1986, Ray moved to Manchester in 1991 to attend Manchester Business School and undertake an MBA. Upon graduating he joined Henry Cooke Lumsden as an Institutional Research Analyst specialising in technology companies, eventually becoming Head of Institutional Sales and Research in 1997. Following a brief spell in London with Beeson Gregory (Evolution Group) between 2000 and 2002, Ray relocated back to Manchester and established an Institutional Brokerage with former colleagues from Henry Cooke Lumsden before joining Mercater in September 2010.
Ray is a keen Chelsea fan and also enjoys golf and skiing.
