Over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry has seen Alaric Gordon cover a wide range of disciplines. Originally a broker and analyst with Simon & Coates and Chase Manhattan Securities in London, Alaric moved back to Manchester in 1990, joining local broker John Siddall & Son as an institutional broker before moving to Henry Cooke Lumsden where his roles included fund manager, investment products manager and, following Henry Cooke’s acquisition by Brown Shipley, Sales and Marketing Manager for Solus, the company’s OEIC fund subsidiary.
Alaric left Solus in 2003 to establish Mercater Capital Management with former colleague David Oakes and, since Mercater acquired Scott Lang Investment Management in 2005, he has been Chief Executive of the new and enlarged business. Alaric is a Member of the Securities Institute.
